Basketball Recap: Hatboro-Horsham Comes Up Short

Hatboro-Horsham was the 59-48 winner over Bensalem when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 50-36 to the Bensalem Fighting Owls. While losing is never fun, the Hatters can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 534th, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 201st).

This is the second loss in a row for Hatboro-Horsham and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Bensalem, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hatboro-Horsham will venture away from home to square off against Springfield Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bensalem, they will take on Conwell-Egan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Conwell-Egan Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
