Basketball Recap: Grant Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Grant hadn't done well against North Hollywood recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Grant Lancers walked away with a 33-26 victory over the North Hollywood Huskies. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 37-24 win the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Grant has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for North Hollywood, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Grant will venture away from home to square off against Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grant has four straight victories, Monroe has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court. As for North Hollywood, they will host Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Hollywood is facing Chavez at the right time seeing as Chavez is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
