While Prue's win against Covington-Douglas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Prue's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-11. As for Covington-Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Prue beat the Wildcats by a score of 4-0 on Thursday.
