Basketball Recap: Bell Comes Up Short

Bell played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Legacy Tigers, falling 43-14. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Bell lost, don't look at Breeana Huerta. Despite the final result, she posted six points.

Legacy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Casillas, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kazey Cruz, who had ten points.

Bell now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Legacy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing South East the next time they take the court. Legacy will head out to face South East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bell will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
