Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Hillgrove was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against River Ridge, falling 3-0. Hillgrove's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grayson's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight matches. As for Hillgrove, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
