Softball Recap: Paulding County Comes Up Short

Paulding County lost against Woodstock back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aubree Busby made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI. Those doubles were her first of the season.

Paulding County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Woodstock, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Paulding County will be playing at home against Sprayberry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodstock, they will face off against Etowah at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
