Softball Recap: Schuyler County Takes a Loss

Schuyler County entered their game against Salisbury on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rams fell 15-10 to the Panthers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Halle Roberts led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Greta Schoonover, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Schuyler County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Salisbury, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schuyler County will face off against Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salisbury, they will square off against Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
