Preview: Notre Dame Spirits vs. North Monterey County Condors
Notre Dame has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the North Monterey County Condors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Notre Dame is ranked 745th, while North Monterey County is ranked 747th).
On Thursday, Notre Dame came up short against St. Francis and fell 39-28.
Meanwhile, North Monterey County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-43 to St. Francis.
Notre Dame's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for North Monterey County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Notre Dame didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Monterey County when the teams last played on January 4th, but they still walked away with a 38-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Notre Dame since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
