Softball Recap: Blair Oaks Takes a Loss

Blair Oaks was the 7-2 winner over Fatima when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Comets by a score of 12-11 on Thursday.

Kynlee Rackers and Rylea Nichelson did some serious damage despite the final result: Rackers went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs, while Nichelson went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacy Lowrance, who went 1-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Blair Oaks' loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Fatima, they moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Blair Oaks will be playing at home against California at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fatima, they will take on New Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
