Saturday just wasn't the day for Boone Central's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Boone Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9.

Boone Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against O'Neill on the 27th. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Wayne on the 27th.
