After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Covenant Academy, Walnut Grove was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fair Play Hornets a 20-0 shutout. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Fair Play, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Walnut Grove will face off against Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fair Play, they will take on Weaubleau at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
