Baseball Recap: Atlanta Jewish Academy Triumphs

Atlanta Jewish Academy won the last time they faced Tournament Opponent and things went their way on Friday too. The Jaguar narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Tournament Opponent 8-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguar.

Judah Gal made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Gal was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Yakov Wasserman was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Jonny Wilson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Atlanta Jewish Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-7.
