High school football rankings: Catholic Memorial finishes No. 1 in final Massachusetts MaxPreps Top 25

Knights cap unbeaten season with 27-7 win over King Philip Regional in Division 1 Super Bowl.

The high school football season in Massachusetts came to a close over the weekend. Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury) was among the victors, capping an unbeaten season by knocking off King Philip Regional (Wrentham) 27-7 in the Division 2 Super Bowl. That victory helped propel the Knights to the No. 1 ranking in the final state MaxPreps Top 25.

Catholic Memorial (12-0) won every game this season by double digits, including a 28-17 win over Division 1 champion St. John's Prep (Danvers) in October. The Knights have won 27 of their last 28 dating back to the 2019 season.

Division 3 champion Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield) and Division 4 champion Duxbury also finished unbeaten and finished in the top 10 of the final rankings.
