The Lennox Academy Panthers will challenge the Dunn Earwigs at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lennox Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica as they made off with an 18-8 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Seawolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Zebedee Haro made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Lennox Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-11 otherwise. Haro was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carlos Diaz Morales, who got on base in all six of his plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron Estrada, who earned one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Lennox Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica only posted an OBP of .312.
Meanwhile, Dunn got the win against Redlands Adventist Academy on Friday by a conclusive 16-4.
Like Lennox Academy, Dunn also got a great game from a two-way player: Noah Benfield. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. Benfield was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with five runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Mason Hunt and Thomas Burry did most of the damage at the plate: Hunt went 3-for-5 with five RBI and two doubles, while Burry went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Hudson Von Der Lieth was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Lennox Academy's record now sits at 11-12. As for Dunn, their record is now 12-7.
