Volleyball Recap: White Pine Triumphs

White Pine won the last time they faced American Heritage Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Bobcats came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

White Pine not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept American Heritage Academy to exactly 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

Brenley Skadburg paced White Pine's offense, picking up eight kills. Skadburg got some help from Savanna Pratt and her eight assists. Skadburg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

White Pine's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for American Heritage Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, White Pine and American Heritage Academy will both be playing GV Christian the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will head out to face the Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
