Basketball Recap: Packinghouse Christian Academy Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Packinghouse Christian Academy had won six straight road games dating back to last season and Pearl Harry did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Packinghouse Christian Academy Bears really took it to The Grove School Ravens for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-16 win thanks in part to Harry, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. The match was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Jayden Bauernfeind was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

Packinghouse Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for The Grove School, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Packinghouse Christian Academy and Notre Dame will compete for holiday cheer at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Grove School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bethel Christian on January 14, 2025.
