The Clairemont Chieftains will face off against the Castle Park Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clairemont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Clairemont took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They beat Mount Miguel by a goal, winning 4-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Clairemont considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Mount Miguel with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Quinn Low, Zoe Baskerville, Sierra Ladwig, and Kylie Lail.

Meanwhile, Castle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Monte Vista.

Clairemont's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Castle Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Clairemont beat Castle Park 3-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2021. Will the Chieftains repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
