Soccer Game Preview: Orange vs. Savanna

For the first time this season, Orange will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to take on the Savanna Rebels at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orange's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Orange turned things around against Samueli Academy back in December of 2025. They and the Firewolves finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Savanna kept a clean sheet against La Quinta on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Aztecs by a score of 2-0. Savanna haven't had any issues with La Quinta recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

With that draw, Orange's record moves to 1-4-2. As for Savanna, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2.

Orange came up short against Savanna in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 4-2. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
