Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Preuss UCSD). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Liberty Charter Lions 45-13. The win was familiar territory for the Tritons who have now won three contests in a row.

Preuss UCSD's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rediet Neme, who posted 16 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Neme has scored at least a third of Preuss UCSD's points. Another player making a difference was Afi Torgby, who had 11 points.

Preuss UCSD's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points per game. As for Liberty Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Preuss UCSD has already played their next matchup (against High Tech NC), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Liberty Charter will take on School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
