Softball Recap: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Battle Mountain Huskies
Eagle Valley barely beat Battle Mountain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Devils blew past the Huskies 14-4 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Devils in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won six in a row.
Lily Brueck made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in August. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double.
