Soccer Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

Rutland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Morgan County Bulldogs, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 102nd).

Rutland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Morgan County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Rutland is taking a road trip to face off against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on March 20th. As for Morgan County, they will be playing at home against Pike County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
