Basketball Recap: Bethel Park Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Bella Coleman and Sadie Orie

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bethel Park can now relate to. They fell 47-34 to the York Suburban Trojans on Saturday. The Black Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Bethel Park's loss came despite strong showings from Sadie Orie and Bella Coleman. Orie posted 12 points, while Coleman had nine points. That's the most points Coleman has posted since back in December of 2024. Abigail Stutzman also deserves some recognition as she pulled down her first board of the season.

Bethel Park's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for York Suburban, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Bethel Park nor York Suburban have any future games scheduled.
