Softball Recap: Dewey Beats Skiatook for Their Sixth Straight Win

Dewey entered their tilt with Skiatook on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They skirted past the Bulldogs 6-4. Six seems to be a good number for the Bulldoggers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kyla Overton and Aubree Bellar did most of the damage at the plate: Overton went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Bellar went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Chanley Herren, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Dewey's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Skiatook, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Coming up, Dewey will square off against Union at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Skiatook, they will face off against Cleveland at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
