Baseball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Stagg managed to slip by Sandburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 11-4.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Sandburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Stagg will welcome Harlem at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sandburg, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Lincoln-Way East at 4:30 p.m. The Griffins' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
