Basketball Recap: Crawford Wins Going Away Against Kearny

It's playoff time, and Crawford had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Kearny Komets on Tuesday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Komets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fatuma Abdi was her usual excellent self, putting up 26 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ilhan Ali Mohammed was another key player, scoring eight points and five boards.

The victory got Crawford back to even at 14-14. As for Kearny, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Crawford is taking a road trip to challenge Tri-City Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-City Christian's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Crawford's offense will have their work cut out for them. Kearny does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
