Softball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee was the 11-10 winner over West Forsyth when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 5-1 to the Wolverines on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cherokee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Forsyth, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will challenge River Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Forsyth, they will head out on the road to square off against Johns Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gladiators have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
