Soccer Recap: Towers Takes a Loss

Towers fought the good fight in their overtime match against Jasper County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Jasper County Hurricanes, falling 6-3. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Titans struggled afterwards.

This is the second loss in a row for Towers and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Jasper County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Towers will welcome Social Circle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Putnam County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 18 goals over their last three games.
