Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saint Francis walked away with it. They never let the Folsom Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Saint Francis pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine contests. As for Folsom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Saint Francis will face off against Amador Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Francis' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Amador Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
