After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Richfield, Highland Park was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Harding Knights a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Scots, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Highland Park's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Harding, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Highland Park will head out on the road to face off against St. Paul Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Scots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Minutemen have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Harding, they will square off against Johnson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Governors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.75 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
