Basketball Recap: Enochs Falls Despite Big Games from Alivia Pierce and Emilee Borges

Enochs lost against Ripon back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Enochs Eagles fell 42-34 to the Ripon Indians.

Enochs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emilee Borges, who posted seven points and three steals, and Alivia Pierce, who had seven points and four steals. Pierce is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Enochs dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ripon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Enochs will be taking part in a tournament against Grace Davis at 1:00 p.m. on December 26th. As for Ripon, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tokay at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
