Soccer Game Preview: Chaminade vs. Marymount

The Chaminade Eagles will face off against the Marymount Sailors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marymount took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chaminade, who comes in off a win.

Chaminade's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Louisville 4-0. The victory continues a trend for Chaminade in their matchups with Louisville: they've now won four in a row.

Chaminade hit Louisville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaitlyn Nelson (2), Sahai Scott, and Natalie Kokenda.

Meanwhile, Marymount came up short against Harvard-Westlake on Friday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Marymount can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Harvard-Westlake are ranked 43rd).

Marymount's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Chaminade, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-4.
