Baseball Recap: Chadwick Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chadwick can now relate to. They fell just short of the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros by a score of 4-2 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Dolphins have suffered since April 1st.

The loss snapped Chadwick's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-11 record. As for Rancho Alamitos, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-11.

Chadwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rancho Alamitos, they will square off against Oxford Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Patriots have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
