Gar-Field had won six straight games and JJ Bell did his part to make it seven on Saturday. The Red Wolves came out on top against the Potomac Falls Panthers by a score of 67-60 with plenty of help from Bell, who shot 41% from the field to rack up 28 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Bell is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Potomac Falls lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Josh Orbida, who went 5-for-12 en route to 12 points. Adit Apte was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Gar-Field's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Potomac Falls, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Gar-Field will take on Potomac Senior in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Wolves will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Potomac Falls and Briar Woods will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
