Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Islands). They were the clear victors by a 24-5 margin over the Calvary Day Cavaliers on Wednesday. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

The win got Islands back to even at 4-4. As for Calvary Day, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islands will venture away from home to face off against Liberty County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Calvary Day, they will face off against Long County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Tide's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Cavaliers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
