Basketball Recap: Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mansfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 65-52 to the Towanda Black Knights. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2015.

Mansfield now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Towanda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

When Mansfield and Towanda next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Mansfield will try to stop Northeast Bradford's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Towanda will challenge Wyalusing Valley and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
