Don Lugo has gone 9-1 against Ontario recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Don Lugo Conquistadores just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Ontario Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. Don Lugo will be strutting in after a victory while Ontario will be coming in after a defeat.

Don Lugo took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 49-5 win over Compton Early College.

Meanwhile, Ontario unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-34 loss to Whittier Christian.

Don Lugo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Ontario, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.

Don Lugo beat Ontario 47-40 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Don Lugo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
