After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Savannah Christian finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Toombs County Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Savannah Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Toombs County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

While Savannah Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
