Football Recap: Zimmerman Comes Up Short

Zimmerman and Orono squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Zimmerman had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 28-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Thunder were not able to get on the board.

With the loss, Zimmerman broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Orono, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Zimmerman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orono, they will venture away from home to square off against Fergus Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
