Nordhoff has gone 9-1 against Fillmore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Nordhoff Rangers will be playing at home against the Fillmore Flashes at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Nordhoff took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Carpinteria 57-43.

Nordhoff had a senior duo take command as Cadence Renshaw dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds and Crystal Ramirez went 8 for 18 en route to 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ramirez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Jackson, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points and five boards.
Meanwhile, Fillmore hadn't done well against Channel Islands recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Fillmore strolled past Channel Islands with points to spare, taking the game 41-23.
Nordhoff better focus on containing Lucy Murillo and Hermelinda Ocegueda as the pair were huge in Fillmore's win. Murillo dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Ocegueda dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Murillo a new career-high in rebounds. Andrea Ramirez was another key player, putting up five points and six boards.
Nordhoff is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Fillmore, they pushed their record up to 8-16 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Nordhoff has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 24.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Fillmore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Nordhoff skirted past Fillmore 37-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Does Nordhoff have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fillmore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
