Soccer Recap: Arroyo Grande Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After failing to score in their last game, Arroyo Grande made sure to put some goals up on the board against Templeton on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Templeton Eagles a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Arroyo Grande's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Shyenne Cano and Olivia Hunsicker scored all four of Arroyo Grande's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Arroyo Grande pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Templeton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Arroyo Grande will be home for the holidays to greet Santa Ynez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Templeton, they are taking a road trip to take on Atascadero at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
