Basketball Game Preview: St. Marys Flying Dutch vs. DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals

The St. Marys Flying Dutch will take on the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

St. Marys can't be too worried about heading out to take on DuBois Central Catholic: they just beat Elk County Catholic at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. St. Marys took down Elk County Catholic 38-19 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, DuBois Central Catholic earned a 56-48 victory over Kane on Friday. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Wolves are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Marys' record now sits at 12-10. As for DuBois Central Catholic, their record now sits at 20-2.

St. Marys might still be hurting after the 58-35 defeat they got from DuBois Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in January. Can St. Marys avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
