Basketball Game Preview: Avenal Buccaneers vs. Coalinga Horned Toads

Avenal is 0-10 against Coalinga since November of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Avenal Buccaneers will host the Coalinga Horned Toads at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Avenal ended up a good deal behind Dos Palos and lost 35-20.

Meanwhile, Coalinga had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 45-30.

Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Avenal, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
