Baseball Recap: East Jackson Eagles vs. Franklin County Lions
East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Franklin County Lions, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-3 defeat last Tuesday.
East Jackson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hanseong Kang, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
East Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Franklin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Meanwhile, Franklin County will take on rival Stephens County at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
