Softball Recap: Roff Comes Up Short

Roff managed to slip by Caney the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Cougars on Friday, falling 9-3. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Roff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Caney, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Roff will head out to challenge Vanoss at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Caney, they will be playing at home against Caddo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
