Volleyball Recap: Avery Hietpas and Katie Pomasl Secure Win for Hortonville

Hortonville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Kingsford Flivvers by a score of 2-0 on Friday.

Hortonville was led to victory by Katie Pomasl and Avery Hietpas. Pomasl had eight digs and two assists, while Hietpas had nine digs. That's the most assists Pomasl has posted since back in October of 2024. Lauren Schwab also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Hortonville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Kingsford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Hortonville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Randolph on the 30th. As for Kingsford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Marshfield on the 30th.
