Preview: Potter Valley Bearcats vs. Anderson Valley Panthers
Potter Valley has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Anderson Valley Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Potter Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Potter Valley's 12-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Round Valley 64-15 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Potter Valley has suffered since December 6, 2023.
Meanwhile, Anderson Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 38-34 to Round Valley.
Potter Valley dropped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Anderson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Things could have been worse for Potter Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-28 loss to Anderson Valley in their previous matchup on January 9th. Can Potter Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
