Poly and Arleta are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Parrots are taking a road trip to challenge the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Poly's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Poly didn't have quite enough to beat Verdugo Hills and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Arleta has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 14. They lost 4-0 to San Fernando on Monday. While losing is never fun, Arleta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1020th, while San Fernando are ranked 430th).

Poly's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-4. As for Arleta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-2.

Poly was able to grind out a solid victory over Arleta when the teams last played back in December of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Parrots since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
