Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-6. They came up short against the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles, falling 12-1. That's two games in a row now that the Sundevils have lost by exactly 11 runs.

As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

For Uwharrie Charter Academy's part, Keaton Hill got the start for Uwharrie Charter Academy and what a start it was: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
