Softball Recap: Towns County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Towns County's offense. They fell 4-0 to Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy on Tuesday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy earlier this season, when they won 14-2.

Towns County's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Towns County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Lake Oconee Academy on the 28th. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Hebron Christian on the 27th.
