Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laytonville). They breezed by the Potter Valley Bearcats to the tune of 60-32 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Laytonville, bringing their record for this year to 4-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Potter Valley, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Laytonville and Grace Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Potter Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tomales at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
